”…it was 1992 when kiko, a nickname that has been shifting through few others in the years . Called me for some beers and some chat about one our growin’ intense adventure… into watersports. Kiko was shaping surfboards and fins. I was drawing and try to loosing my youth away. It turned into a close friendship that changed our lifestyle attitude forever. We decided to call it Eclipse surfboards.
“The dark side of a surfing establishment momentum revo- lution.” A cosmic adventure through the Eclipseland Galassia drifting from punk music to classic country rock atmosphere… drugs comics and dreams make the rest… and a lot of trips all over the globe were redefines an intacte underground pulsing surf society. Some friends joined those years with us … Some had their life far from the eclipse , some remain close to the our Dreams . Thanks to them and to future generations… to believing in us…”

KEEP THE UNDERGROUND ALIVE

welcome and really thanks to visit our proto – website. First of all we suggest a little patience during your proto navigation and we recommend to pay attention at various small and hidden details, that grows and proliferate inside our totally homemade proto-website. It’s a self promote, from the choice on a mixed combination of our two surf world cosmic raffigurations. The site is a small collage of over twenty years of our dedication to the pure undergroundsurfsociety, out of time, anachronistically fluctuating between a costant contradiction. A mighty brand that born and still supporting one of the very first innovative and traditional surfboards garage shapes, that have seen and have been part of an international scene, since the surf renaissance as one of its leader.
Surfing our site will result a little heavy disorganized and confused for its configuration and language. We are sorry for that, but this is the reason why, the Eclipse world can be very far or really close, depends of how deep you are stuck in our confusion; In this case we suggest to take your time and follow our Astraltrip to the Eclipseland. The Dora surfboards

Everybody knows that Miklos Sandor Dora was one of the first to try shorter and Lighter stiks surfs, he was so mad about try to improve the quality and the floatibility to arrive of assembling a balsa boards with ping pong balls in search of lightness. The thing works antil it was smashed on the rincons rocks… this board is inspired by this most influenting longboarder ever knows. So we decided to shape one as he would like to surf at the Point in Malibu. The Dora is super classic nine two fast gliding noserider and with its smooth and loosing attitude will brings you to the next imaginary surfing step…

the funny smartass Maunder and some of his best Cosmic Surf Stripes. Originally this comics appeared in 1996 on the monthly italian surf magazine SURF LATINO.
